Ivan S. Franko Architect (ISFA) is an architectural practice specializing in holistic design solutions for institutional, multi-residential, and renovation projects. 

Founded in 1997, ISFA consists of a team of senior professionals and consultants working collaboratively. Our core design philosophy is to seamlessly blend functionality, aesthetic appeal, and environmental mindfulness to meticulously craft spaces that meet or surpass the expectations of our clients and improve the lives of the end users. 

Our management approach ensures that our designs not only fulfil aesthetic and functional criteria, but also remain within the specified budget parameters, providing cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or innovation to create environments that serve and resonate with the users.

Our areas of specialization include the AODA assessment of existing buildings, exterior barrier-free access, the renovation of interior common area spaces for greater accessibility, and barrier-free unit refurbishments. We are highly skilled at the design of interior office spaces and college departments, having reworked the entire Faculty of Business at Humber College in four phases. ISFA third specialty is renovation for faith-based organizations, having modernized many church facilities, while adding to their barrier-free accessibility.

ISFA approaches each project with a focus on community engagement, ensuring that the voices of the participants are heard throughout the schematic design and design development stages. Collaborating closely with the client, local authorities, and users, we create spaces that reflect the unique identity of the project while addressing their specific requirements, along with accessibility and common space needs.

At Ivan S. Franko Architect, we work efficiently and collaboratively as the project lead and prime consultant on numerous multi-disciplinary design and construction projects.
